I think I've missed a few Saturday's and I usually try to relate my choice of song to something going on with me or the world. So here's one for the world...
Today just seemed appropriate with the world series games beginning today in Detroit. Although, I won't be attending any of the games, I wanted to share some enthusiasm for the Detroit Tigers and what better way.... with a little bit of John Fogerty...

I don't know who these people are. I was just clicking away at some of the sights and people diggin on the sounds. The smell of spring and "schtuff" in the air. ;)
Santana has always been a favorite of mine. I remember a couple of years ago, my husband and I were at Circuit City shopping for home entertainment equipment and they had Santana playing on DVD video. It was a live concert and kick ass to boot. I stood there watching the DVD while he shopped equipment.
I'm a sucker for good jazz. My folks use to own a jazz bar in Ferndale that was a hot spot any day of the week for good jazz. Most of which comprised of local musicians. In it's day, it was called the Delta Lady and was located on Woodward between 8 and 9 Mile Rd. I think it's still there but under a different guise.
Anyhow, this tune is from Santana's (2002) Shaman album and is called "The Game of Love." Don't hear it on the radio these days but I think we should! Maybe I'll email 98.7 FM and suggest it.
